Loon Fall
There is a phenomenon that happens to the Common Loon called loon fall. Flying out of the water in winter and early spring, ice can build up on their wings and render them unable to fly. Your job is to work with your fellow loons to stop ice from taking you down.

Hey, I hope you're doing well! It's been a long time coming, but we finally have an updated version that cleans up most of our intentions in the game jam!
awesome! i got to around 8500 points. when does the boss appear? one thing to add if you were to keep tinkering with it, is an impact sprite for when the lazer hits a snowflake. i love how you can get a whole flock of loons, so cool.
Oh dang, the boss appears right after that! If I'm doing my math right, 9040. Then the progression loops around again with an increased amount of snowflakes and faster difficulty progression.
I totally agree about the laser impacts! I'm thinking we might even just utilize a particle emitter. I don't think there's a lot more we're going to do, maybe some small tweaks. Those impacts could be a good increase to game feel for a small amount of effort.
